agreement for contributing netart project to the computer fine arts collection

'the artist' and computerfinearts.com agree to the following:

1.'the artist' will maintain the full copyrights for 'the work'.

2. 'the artist' will maintain a copy of 'the work' in his files.
'the artist' will make available any updates that are made to 'the work', in the interest of forward compatibility with internet applications or versions.
it is computerfinearts.com responsibility to apply said changes.

3. computerfinearts.com does not hold the right to create derivative works, nor shall the codes of 'the work' be altered without consent of 'the artist'.
'the artist' grants computerfinearts.com a non-exclusive right to use the files and the code for the sole purpose of maintaining 'the work'.

4. 'the artist' and computerfinearts.com reserved the right to exhibit 'the work' on their personal web sites, or in any other exhibition space, virtual or physical at any time.

5. computerfinearts.com agrees that 'the work' will not be shown within a window or a frame that contains advertising. no pop up advertising window shall be open when linking to 'the work', likewise, no audio advertising shall accompany the pages of 'the work'.

6. 'the artist' agree that computerfinearts.com will distribute the files of 'the work' to the Cornell University Library as outlined in the archiving agreement signed on 12/17/03 between computerfinearts.com and The Rose Goldsen Archive of New Media, a Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections, of the Cornell University Library, Ithaca, New York.

I, 'the artist' hereby grant ownership for the project (clone/mirror/copy/numbered edition) name :__________________
'the work' as specified in the 'agreement for contributing netart project to the computer fine arts collection' to computerfinearts.com.

a proof of ownership for 'the work' is in a form of:

1. a hard copy CD of 'the work', including all the files that composed 'the work', signed and dated by 'the artist' with permanent marker.
2. this 'letter of ownership of netart project' signed and dated by 'the artist'.
the letter will list in 'exhibit A' all the files that compose 'the work', and will be signed and dated by 'the artist'.
